Sunny Beach is the largest and most visited Bulgarian resort, located in the northern part of the Southern Bulgarian Black Sea coast, near the Nessebar Bay in the Municipality of Nessebar. It is located in a crescent-shaped bay, facing east. The northern part of the resort rests at the foot of the last hills of Stara Planina. The low beach with a beach is 6.1 km long and the beach is with fine yellow sand and an average width of about 60 m. Bourgas International Airport is 27 km from Sunny Beach and the seaport of Bourgas - 40 km from it.
